After a serving in the industry first as call center agent in the early 2000's, and then as a successful sales agent, and later as an award winning Sales manager, Insurablink founder and CEO Edlee K Motsisi found himself dispondent as a result of certain common industry practises, these practises, while not necessarily against the law, but are in his opinion not client centric. According to him, clients had to pay too much of their hard earned cash to begin to even acquire advice of how or where to get insurance, and also, the expensive industry strategies brokers employed to acquire leads lead to expensive "admin fees" that the customer had to pay ultimately. So, teaming up with co-founder, Botlhale Motsisi, a seasoned entreprenuer in her own right, armed with a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Pretoria, with extensive experience in life insurance, they vowed to find a better way that would empower the customer and make it simpler, more transparent and faster to purchase or switch policies. Together they decided to channel their entrepreneurial spirit into building out the best insurance shopping experience through out the Sub-saharan continent .
